The Devon Xtreme are excited to announce the teams newest signing, forward Harrison Boldt!
Boldt is an 18-year-old Edmonton, AB product who comes to Devon following his 2023-24 season with the Chilliwack Chiefs. During his time there Boldt received the Community Player of the Year award.
He spoke over the phone about his recent signing with the Xtreme saying, “I’m just really excited to get to go back somewhere near home. Last year I was playing in the BCHL so getting to go back and be around my family a little more is going to be really exciting.”
Boldt also talked about what he brings on the ice for the Xtreme stating, “I’m a big body, and big presence on the ice. I’m a gritty player, but I also have a lot of skill that I can bring to the table.”
Diving deeper into how Boldt carries himself off the ice he said, “I see myself of kind of a glue guy, I’m not afraid to voice my opinion so I’m able to bring the guys closer together.”
Throughout the interview it became evident why Boldt received the Community Player of the Year Award from the Chiefs as without being prompted he made specific mention of how he plans to make the most out of his time in Devon that he can. In his own words he said, “I value volunteering and making an impact in the community, and that’s what I plan on coming to do in Devon.”
