In the words of Aiden Boelsgaard “Let the Fur Fly!” as hundreds of bears came to the ice on Ben Deacon’s opening goal in a matchup against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons earlier this season. The bears, donated by Xtreme Fans and Players – were collected and immediately donated to the Leduc & District Foodbank to be given out to less fortunate families this holiday season.
