The Devon Xtreme are hosting their first official ID camp this weekend May 31st – June 2nd, at the Leduc Recreation Centre. This camp features 110 invited players with the opportunity to showcase their skill in the early stages of the recruiting process.

The first group of players hit the ice at 10:00AM Friday. Following the initial session Xtreme Head Coach & GM Kelly Buchberger shared his thoughts about what he was seeing so far, and how things are going a few weeks into his new position.

After the opening session forward Max Radmanovich spoke on how he felt about his first chance to get out on the ice, as well his thoughts on the upcoming inaugural season for the Xtreme.

Goaltender Jordan Switzer gave his perspective from between the pipes following his first day of camp as well.

After the second session had come to it’s conclusion big defenceman Ethan Nesimiuk gave his opinion on his groups skate, and spoke about what he feels he would bring to the table were he to crack the lineup.

Players will have many more sessions as the weekend continues, providing each a chance to get their name looked at, as the new season continues to draw closer.
