The Devon Xtreme are proud to announce that our game September 21st vs the Whitecourt Wolverines will be Truth and Reconciliation Night.
For this game the Xtreme will be wearing a special set of jerseys with the logo designed by Aimee Movold.
More about Aimee:
“I am a local Devonian artist, mother, and Acupuncturist. I have Cree (Samson Cree Nation), Metis, Ukrainian, and Irish roots.
As a consequence of residential school, my family did not grow up immersed in my indigenous culture. I am passionate about reclaiming my culture, language, and connections to share and pass along to my children.
Much of my art is inspired by nature, culture and colour.
When I’m not creating art, playing with my kids, or putting pins in my patients; you can find me at the hot yoga studio, hiking the trails, canoeing the river, or camping the wilderness.”
