The Devon Xtreme proudly announce the team’s newest signing, Forward Tyler Pretty!
Pretty comes to Devon following his 2023-24 campaign for the Chilliwack Chiefs.
He spoke over the phone about his signing in Devon saying “It’s great, brand new team and a brand new opportunity. I’m excited to get started and meet all the guys.”
When asked to describe himself as a player on the ice Pretty said, “I like to call myself a two-way player, I like to score goals, I like to make plays in the O-zone but I also take pride in the D-zone.”
Off the ice Pretty also described himself saying, “I like to keep it light in the room, I don’t like being too serious but come game time it’s always good to be ready to go.”
He mentioned his prior experience and how he feels that will help him this season saying, “I think playing junior last year has let me build off some experience around junior hockey culture and how the game moves. I think it’s going to help me be a leader on the ice and lead by example on the ice.”
Pretty joined the team this week for the Xtreme’s inaugural training camp!
