DEVON XTREME SIGN FORWARD LEVY KOZMA

Please join us in welcoming The Xtreme’s newest signing, forward Levy Kozma!

Kozma comes to Devon following his 2023-24 season with the Detroit Little Caesers U18 AAA team, where he put up 54 points.

He spoke over the phone about joining The Xtreme saying, “I’m really excited, and looking forward to playing in Devon for coach Kelly (Head Coach & GM Kelly Buchberger). I chose to sign in Devon because of how interested the coaching staff were during the recruiting process, and the positive recommendations I received regarding the organization.”

Kozma as well spoke about what he brings on the ice for Devon stating, “I’m a skilled, offensively minded forward. I like to use my skating and my puck handling skills to generate offence, and setup my linemates.”

Although coming from Detroit all the way to Devon, Kozma is no stranger to moving around. Other than the USA and Canada, he has spent time living in both Hungary and Austria as well.

Despite it being yet another move Kozma has always wanted to play junior hockey in Canada saying, “I’ve always had the idea that I would like to play junior hockey up north in Canada, I had a very good experience playing hockey up there in prior years. I think the level of passion that Canadians bring for the sport of hockey is something that I would like to be a part of.”

In his closing statements Kozma spoke more about The Xtreme and it being the team’s inaugural season saying, “It’s definitely a cool experience joining a team in its first season. I think this team has everything it takes to win in this league, and be a great program down the road as well.”
