Please join us in welcoming The Xtreme’s newest signing Defenceman Maddox Mason!
Mason joins us following his 2023-24 season with U18 AAA Red Deer Chiefs, where through 38 regular season games he acquired 19 points. He also added another point in 5 playoff games during The Chiefs run.
Being based out of Red Deer Mason spoke virtually about his excitement for the upcoming season saying “It’s very exciting to be honest, it’s been my ultimate goal to sign with an AJHL team. Also very excited that it’s Devon.”
Mason as well spoke about what he bring to the back end for the Xtreme this upcoming season stating “I bring a big body, and presence. I’m really good with my stick, and gap control. I also love to rush the puck.”
Following the Leduc ID Camp this past weekend Mason had the opportunity to sign in person with Head Coach and GM Kelly Buchberger, and will be joining the team for training camp in August.
