Please help us in welcoming the Devon Xtreme’s first signing, and NAX alumni Ryan Richardson!
Richardson is a Kelowna, BC born Defenceman that is coming to us following his last season with the NAX U18 Prep team.
When asked about what this step means to him Richardson said “It feels awesome, it was my goal all along playing hockey as a kid to make it to the Juniors. So I’m just really excited to be with this team.”
In 2023-24 Richardson appeared in 30 regular season games for NAX, recording 16 points. During the playoffs he was able to put up 3 points in 5 games played as well.
Richardson spoke about what he feels he brings to the table for The Xtreme stating “I think I bring 2 way defence, and I like to be a puck mover jumping in the play when I can. I do whatever it takes.”
Pictured above Richardsons signing today was accompanied by Head Coach and GM Kelly Buchberger to help welcome him to The Xtreme. He spoke highly of getting to play under Buchberger mentioning “I think he’ll have lots of knowledge that he can pass along, and help us become better hockey players.”
